If your pet is scheduled for a procedure requiring sedation or anesthesia, we recommend discontinuing the use of CBD products approximately **12 hours prior to the appointment**. Both CBD and anesthetics can influence the central nervous system (CNS), and using them together may amplify sedative effects. To promote the safest experience possible, it’s best to avoid combining the two before surgery. **When to Resume CBD After Surgery:** CBD use can typically be resumed **12–24 hours post-surgery**, once the anesthetic has fully worn off and your pet is fully alert. Many pet guardians find that organic CBD can offer natural support during recovery, promoting relaxation, supporting a healthy inflammatory response, and helping to maintain comfort.
