My pet is having surgery and using CBD. What do I do?

If your pet is scheduled for a procedure requiring sedation, we recommend discontinuing CBD 12 hours prior to the appointment. CBD and anesthetics can both affect the central nervous system (CNS), and when taken together, they may amplify each other’s effects. This interaction could lead to increased sedation or drowsiness, so it’s best to avoid combining the two before surgery.

When to Resume CBD After Surgery:
You can resume CBD 12–24 hours after surgery, once the anesthetic has fully worn off and your pet is alert. CBD is an excellent tool for post-surgery recovery, as it can help reduce inflammation, manage pain, and promote relaxation during the healing process. Start with a low dose and adjust as needed to keep your pet comfortable.

Pro Tip: Pair CBD with supportive supplements like Digest or Vitality tinctures to boost immune function and promote cellular repair after surgery.
