Internal Tumors and Cysts

For internal tumors and cysts, we recommend a full-spectrum hemp extract tincture like our Heal tincture. CBD salves are not suitable for internal conditions, as they are designed for use on the surface of the skin. Heal tincture is ideal for targeting internal issues and supporting your pet’s overall health.

Research shows that CBD can help manage tumors by preventing their growth, triggering the natural death of cancer cells (apoptosis), blocking the formation of blood vessels that feed tumors (angiogenesis), and discouraging the spread of cancer to other areas of the body (metastasis).

For chronic tumors, we recommend starting with 35–50mg of CBD daily. Heal tincture provides 37mg of CBD per 1mL, so this would equal approximately 1 full dropper per day. Split the daily dose into 2–3 smaller portions throughout the day to maintain consistent support. For the fastest absorption, apply CBD directly to the gums. You can also mix it with food, but keep in mind this method may take 30–45 minutes to take effect.

To enhance your pet’s regimen, we recommend adding MycoDog’s Vitality tincture. This blend of seven medicinal mushrooms, including reishi, turkey tail, and maitake, is specially formulated to fight cancer cells without harming healthy ones. Vitality also reduces the risk of cancer recurrence and works well alongside conventional treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. For Vitality, give 2–3ml daily, either directly or mixed with food.
